    How to use this tool

    1. Choose a PDF. Leave the page field blank for all pages.
    2. To split only part of it, enter a range such as 2-5.
    3. Download the separate page files or the ZIP containing them.

    When it helps

    Splitting makes one new PDF for each selected page. It is useful when a portal asks for separate attachments or when you need to send only a particular sheet. The page field accepts comma-separated numbers and ascending ranges. Numbering starts at the first physical page, even when the document has a cover or Roman-numeral introduction. For a single file containing several selected pages, use Extract PDF pages instead.

    A practical example

    A five-page pack can become five separate PDFs, each named with its source page number.

    Before you share the result

    Separating pages does not remove sensitive information that remains on those pages. Inspect each output before sending it. Document-level bookmarks, forms and signatures are not guaranteed to carry over. The browser memory limit and the published page cap apply to the whole input.

    Keep a separate copy of the source file. Check the downloaded result in the application your recipient will use, especially page order, small text and important numbers. Conversion is not a guarantee that a portal will accept a document.
