    How to use this tool

    1. Choose a source PDF.
    2. Enter the page order you want, such as 5,1-3.
    3. Export and check that only the intended pages are present.

    When it helps

    Extraction is useful when you need an excerpt without sharing an entire document. The output contains the pages in the order you enter them. You can use a comma-separated list or ranges, and page positions refer to the file itself rather than printed labels. Leaving the selection empty includes every page. Removing a page from this new copy does not alter the original document on your device.

    A practical example

    Enter 1,7-9 to create a cover page followed by the three pages relevant to your recipient.

    Before you share the result

    Content on included pages is copied, not sanitized. Hidden text or annotations can remain within those pages. Use PDF redaction when you need to permanently cover part of a page. Interactive document features and digital-signature validity are not guaranteed after extraction.

    Keep a separate copy of the source file. Check the downloaded result in the application your recipient will use, especially page order, small text and important numbers. Conversion is not a guarantee that a portal will accept a document.
