Processing and downloads
When you choose a file in these image and PDF tools, the page reads it into your browser memory. Conversion and recognition happen on your device. The tool does not upload selected files or generated results to our server. Download links refer to temporary browser objects rather than public URLs.
Requests your browser makes
The browser downloads this page, its fonts, scripts and processing libraries from metacyber.guru. OCR also downloads an English model. Ordinary hosting logs can record requests for these resources, including your IP address and request time. Those requests do not contain your selected document. These tool pages do not include advertising or Google Analytics scripts. The site's separate web-proxy service works differently; see the site privacy policy for that service.
Memory and local copies
Clear files removes the selection and releases generated download links. Closing the tab ends its working session. Downloaded files remain wherever your browser saves them. Your operating system, extensions, browser history and device backups are outside this tool's control. Local processing is not a promise that a compromised or shared device is private.
OCR model and temporary work
The English OCR model may be cached by the browser to avoid downloading it again. The model is generic recognition data, not your documents. Input files are not intentionally saved into browser storage. Large documents can consume substantial memory; use small selections and keep original copies.
Redaction and review
Redaction covers the regions you mark in a newly rendered output. It does not identify every sensitive detail automatically. Review every page, filenames and visible content before sharing. Rebuilt PDFs do not preserve digital signatures, editable forms or original interactive features. OCR and table extraction can misread text.
Open-source components
The tools use self-hosted PDF.js, pdf-lib, Tesseract.js, Tesseract OCR data and fflate. Their versions, source locations and file hashes are listed in the dependency manifest; licences are distributed beside those files.
Contact
Use the contact page to report a bug or ask about processing. Describe the problem using a non-sensitive example. Do not send passwords, private keys, identity documents or confidential client files.
